Why We Keep Our Vouchers with a 12-Month Expiry
Hello everyone, Bridget here! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Today, I want to talk about our vouchers and explain why we keep a 12-month expiry date. Yes, I’m aware that there have been changes to the minimum expiry date regulations, but I have intentionally chosen to keep ours at 12 months. Let me tell you why.
Our system is set up to automatically send you a reminder to use your voucher as it approaches the 12-month mark. Unlike some businesses that might let your voucher sit unused, I genuinely want you to take advantage of it! If we had a voucher with no expiry, our system wouldn’t be able to send out these reminders, and, unfortunately, clients often forget about their vouchers—up to 50% of the time!
There’s another important reason for this policy. Until a client books in and agrees to our email and texting policy, we are unable to send any direct reminders ourselves. Our booking system simply won’t allow us to do that. This is why a 12-month expiry works best—it ensures you’ll get an automatic reminder to use your voucher.
If you have a voucher that’s over 12 months old, don’t worry—you can still use it! As long as it’s within 3 years of purchase, it’s valid. Just bring the voucher with you and be prepared to cover any rate differences if prices have increased since your purchase. For example, if you have a full-body massage voucher and our rates have gone up, you will need to pay the difference.
Moving forward, I’ll continue to keep our vouchers at a 12-month expiry because I believe in providing you with the best service and ensuring you get the most out of your purchase. Personally, if I had a voucher, I would appreciate a reminder!
I hope this clears things up! Have a fantastic day, and I look forward to seeing you soon!
Warm regards,
Bridget Jones
