SEXUAL HARRASSMENT POLICY
Boutique Massage Studios prohibits all sexual harassment by employees, managers, vendors, customers and clients.
Sexual Harassment is defined as any harassment based on a person’s sex, such as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature, including offensive remarks about a person’s gender.
Both males and females can be victims of sexual harassment.
Prohibited behaviour includes any behavior that creates an offensive work environment that deems the therapist uncomfortable or uneasy in any way.
The act of sexual misconduct can involve inappropriate touching, rude or suggestive
comments, and sexual abuse and violation.
Additionally, videotaping, or photography without the therapists consent is also classed as non-physical sexual misconduct.
Some examples of Prohibited Behavior include:
● A customer/client asking or hinting for sexual massage or hand relief
● Inappropriate body contact with the therapist
● A customer/client naked although advised to keep underwear on.
● A customer/client making sexual jokes
● The offers of Dinner or Alcohol or any type of gift to said therapist.
Individuals violating this policy will be subject to immediate termination of massage with full payment charged directly from your card. Individuals will be banned from all of our services.
All staff and therapists, regardless of their gender, are required to report suspected sexual harassment directly to their supervisor, the HR manager or the owner of the company immediately in person, via phone call or mail.
Complaints of harassment will be documented and investigated by appropriate and a resolution provided to the victim in writing within 60 days. Insofar as possible, complaints will
be maintained as confidential to prevent retaliation while the complaint is being researched and/or resolved.
In addition, our company prohibits retaliation of any kind against an individual claiming harassment and confirming this massage booking you agree to these terms.
