Q: What services do you offer?
A: We offer a range of services including Remedial Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Relaxation Massage, Couple Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexology, and Pamper Packages with Facials.
Q: It’s my first massage—what should I expect?
A: Welcome! We’re excited to have you. When you arrive, relax in our front reception area. A friendly staff member will greet you with a glass of water and guide you to your treatment room. Your therapist will take a few moments to introduce themselves, discuss your specific needs, and address any areas of discomfort.
They will then step out while you undress to your comfort level—leaving your underwear on—and get comfortable on the massage table under a towel and blanket. Ask your therapist if you would like more or less pressure, to ensure you’re completely at ease. We finish each treatment with soothing hot towels to remove excess oil.
After your massage, take your time getting dressed. Your therapist will then lead you to our rest and relaxation room, where you can enjoy a peaceful moment with a glass of filtered water and a Ferrero Rocher. If you’d prefer, we also offer a selection of green or fruit teas.
Q: How can I book an appointment?
A: You can book an appointment online through our booking system on our website. Our system will request your card details and a deposit, or you are welcome to call us to take the deposit over the phone.
Q: What should I expect when booking an appointment?
A: When booking your appointment, you’ll be asked to provide your card details and pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due after your treatment, which you can pay by card, cash, gift voucher, or AfterPay. If you have a package voucher, we’ll set up everything for you upon your arrival. If you have a voucher or wish to pay with AfterPay or cash, please select the “pay later” option.
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
A: Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, simply click the link in your confirmation email from when you first booked or in your email reminder, which you will receive 3 days before your appointment. Can’t find it? No worries—email us directly at Boutiquemassagestudios@gmail.com, and we’ll assist you. Please note our cancellation policy:
- More than 48 hours’ notice: We will place a credit on your account from the 50% deposit; feel free to reschedule or cancel.
- 48 to 24 hours’ notice: We will invite you to reschedule your appointment. A cancellation fee may apply.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice or same-day cancellations: We’re unable to accommodate last-minute cancellations, and your card will be charged the full appointment fee.
Q: What happens if I forget my appointment?
A: We understand things can slip your mind, but to be fair to all our clients and therapists, missed appointments are charged at 100% of the service fee. We do our best to help you remember by sending multiple reminders via text and email. The only exceptions to this policy are emergencies, supported by a doctor’s or hospital note.
Q: Do you provide adult services?
A: We do NOT offer adult services. Please respect our professional environment, as any inappropriate requests will result in the termination of your appointment and refusal of future bookings, with full payment still due. Refer to our Sexual Harassment Policy
Q: Do you accept private health insurance?
A: We do not bill insurance directly, but we can provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, if applicable.
Q: Do you offer HICAPS?
A: No, we are a pay-in-full service. You can claim later with your provider.
Q: Will I be reminded of my appointment?
A: Yes, absolutely. You will receive a text and email when you first book in. Then, you will receive a reminder email 3 days before, from which you are able to reschedule if required. (Note that if you cancel, we will place your deposit as a credit on file for your next massage.) Then, 1 day out, you will receive a text reminder of your appointment.
